Chest Rig Type 3

The make and quality are incredible, and it's really handy getting all the 'bits' off your belt.

I just started on a new show as an AC and my side punch was pulling on my hips. Decided to give this a try and it’s worth it 100% the build quality is great. The pouch has space for much more than I thought. I keep scissors, multiple pens sharpies and white board markers in it. Along with tape and camera puffer with room for more. It has nice pockets to keep things separate like a call sheet. The rings are a great place to keep a tape stronger and the walkie holster is very sturdy and the second one can hold a water bottle or phone. Highly recommend.

I’ve searched high and low for a rig that will check all of boxes. So I purchased my very first rig (type 2 chest rig) while consulting on lighting for a stage production. I was so satisfied with my first rig that I have purchased two more of them, including the type 3 I’m reviewing here and one if the newly released thigh rigs! They do exactly what I need them to do based on stage work or location work! Please keep up the great work and craftsmanship and who knows, I might start adding onto my existing stable of rigs!

Having worked in the theatre and live events industry as a designer, technician and rigger for over a decade before moving into the environment industry and now running a specialised precision based drone company, I am well aware of how important good site gear is to getting organised and getting stuff done.

As a specialised drone operator out in the field, I’m carrying two radios (uhf and air radios), different types of small batteries, wind meter, notes and note pad, small connectivity devices like phones and tablet, tapes, bobs, levels, benchmarks and other bits, plus a controller that weighs about 2kg. All on my body. For about eight non-stop hours in difficult terrain.

This rig has, without question, over delivered in expectation in quality, capacity and the way it distributes weight. Fantastic product
