Introducing our totally redesigned Chest Rig Type 3
Elevate your duties.
Features two adjustable radio mounts to suit most general purpose radios and expandable to suit a Riedel Bolero comms pack with a cable port at the bottom.
Includes a fully adjustable H-Harness with waist strap, and a main pouch with internal sleeves for various equipment for on-the-go.
Inside the pouch is 'open-plan' with a front and rear sleeve, and open main pocket area. A strip of loop tape is sewn inside for use of various elastic organisers from our Utilitab range.
Hardware between the main base and harness may differ from photos.

Having worked in the theatre and live events industry as a designer, technician and rigger for over a decade before moving into the environment industry and now running a specialised precision based drone company, I am well aware of how important good site gear is to getting organised and getting stuff done.
As a specialised drone operator out in the field, I’m carrying two radios (uhf and air radios), different types of small batteries, wind meter, notes and note pad, small connectivity devices like phones and tablet, tapes, bobs, levels, benchmarks and other bits, plus a controller that weighs about 2kg. All on my body. For about eight non-stop hours in difficult terrain.
This rig has, without question, over delivered in expectation in quality, capacity and the way it distributes weight. Fantastic product

I've been working as a stagehand for the better part of a couple years, it is so refreshing to finally have a more premium option for a chest rig. The Type 4 has more than enough pockets, elastic straps, and pouches for all my miscellaneous tools and equipments. I would wholeheartedly recommend this rig for anybody working in the industry.

Not only is the chest rig super strong and robust but it also gives you confidence that you’re not going to have to buy another for a long time down the road.
I love having my Asthma Inhaler close by on my belt setup, great for on the go during events! SIDESHIFT have lots of good gear, don't forget the little extras like this!
