Hey crew, hope all are keeping strong out there
Thought we'd publish a quick workroom update and summary of what we're up to for EOFY Sale this year.
Firstly I want to acknowledge the impact recent delays may have had from our Rig Raid promo in March. The combination of machinery failures, short weeks, pricing structure, material QC issues and staff shortages- to be frank- we absolutely roasted our candle from both ends, never to be repeated. But we learned our lesson, and are extremely grateful for our very generous and loyal customers. You truly rock crew.
The reality is- making gear in Australia extremely difficult. But we love it, and will continue to do it. We still haven't fully caught up since discontinuing a bunch of our products, but we're getting there. Some redesigns are in the works, but we're taking our time with them as we don't want to rush into releasing new, complex products.
What we are doing however- is focusing on some small batch EDC and organisational stuff, like our new zip pouches which we expect (if they're popular) will stick around for the long haul. WE think they're a very practical pouch.
ALSO in March- Alesha who was with us for the past 2 years or so, had moved on to greener pastures (back to England). So Brett is running the ops email at the moment (which might explain why our comms have been a bit average lately). She truly was a critical part of the infrastructure here, and super grateful to have had her on the team for as long as we did. Alesha if you're reading this.. come back? 😅
So, what's in store for EOFY? Here's quick line-by-line summary for easy reading.
- Pricing: There will be no 'Site-Wide' discounting. We just can't afford it- so discounts will be individually calculated for select items.
- Some items will not be discounted at all: Packing Bricks, Chest Rig Type 3, Chest Rig Type 2. Potentially others. These items will actually increase in price from July 1st.
- Bundling will be a thing- so we will be prioritising a sort of a volume-buy discount for qty 8-10 pouch bundles.
- Colour runouts- we're running low on a few colours (Red & Royal Blue in particular) and we're unsure how long it will be until we restock those colours. So some colours will be heavily capped. We'd recommending ordering items in these colours sooner rather than later.
- Maker's Choice- we'll be releasing a new EDC Pouch Set pretty much everyday of the week throughout June, for now we'll probably keep it to batches of 1-5 units. So if you see something you like and want to order it on the day but have already ordered, or plan to order again- we will be happy to merge/ship the orders together.
- Lead times - expecting circa 1-7 days on small stuff, and up to 3-4 weeks on Chest Rigs. So if you're after a Chest Rig, it might be better to place your order now-ish, as they won't be heavily discounted (if at all)

Low stock/runout gear- Gig Pouch 1’s and Site Pocket Mini's both use our ITW Nexus Belt Clips which we are currently super low on, so we'll probably not have these products available for EOFY as it's unlikely we'll be replenished in time. And instead- our remaining Belt Clip stock will be allocated to a small batch of 'Spare Pockets'.
- Free Gifts: We usually throw in free gifts with orders during the sale, but not this time-sorry crew. We won't have much capacity!
- Dates: Starts 1st June, ends 30th June.
